New Orleans

Great decor, comfortable beds, always hygienic, very helpful staff that even had a first aid kit handy for a minor cut, loads of complementary coffee and snacks, and very well integrated into the nearby street. It was right next to a streetcar station which the front desk staff helped us to get tickets for on the app, and took us right to the French Quarter the scenic way. The shower and bathroom was nice and modern, loads of space and amenities inside the room (couch, fridge, microwave on each floor). They had social gathering spaces on each floor as well as the lobby. And our room in particular had a great view of the Pontchartrain Hotel and its neon lights nearby, with good blackout curtains if you wanted to sleep in. They also have secure and covered parking. I personally loved this hotel and will be back here if I get the chance to visit New Orleans again.
This place is in the perfect location. Has free parking for guests and is right on the trolley line to take you to all the fun spots around the city. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice and the nostalgic touches in the room made me smile!! We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel for all our future visits to the beautiful city of New Orleans!!! Thank you so much!
Stayed here over the weekend for the dance competition that was at the convention center. Rooms were spacious and clean. AC was cold. Our room also had a sound machine which was awesome! (Across the street can be noisy from the roof top bar). You do have to ask for your room to be cleaned but we only stayed for 2 nights and had plenty of towels. The lobby had complementary coffee that was really good and snacks. The only complaint I have is the parking. We arrived late Friday night. The garage parking lines need to be redone. Multiple vehicles were taking up 2 spots. We then went to the 2nd level which had plenty of spots available. However it was extremely dark with no signs on where to go. We ended up walking down the vehicle ramp and made it to the lobby. Overall, the hotel itself was nice and decorated nicely with the new orleans feel.
I came for the second time with my wife and toddler, and both stays have been such great experiences that we felt it was time to leave a good review. This being one of few options in the area with parking is what originally attracted us, but we love this hotel now. Nothing ruins a stay for me faster than poor housekeeping, but that isn’t a problem here. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean. The bed was also cozy and covered in fresh white bedding. My family doesn’t make a lot of special requests, but when we have initiated contact, the hotel management and staff were friendly and accommodating. The first time we visited, our room was toward the rear of the hotel and I don’t recall hearing the St Charles streetcar going by. This time we are in a room overlooking St Charles Ave, and I hear it go by, but it isn’t very loud. I actually find the sound soothing. We think it adds to the charm of the place, and it didn’t disturb my family’s sleep at all. The area around the hotel is appealing, interesting, and it feels safe here at night. My family loves having the option to walk right out the front door and catch a streetcar. I highly recommend staying in this area and specifically at this hotel.
