Cancel Nola for a work convention and ended up at this location three nights due to the fabulous cover music and atmosphere was a complete vibe!
Retro Punkz is the absolute best. Had them for my wedding this weekend, and it was legitimately legendary. They have the best energy that can get ANYBODY on the dance floor. They have incredible talent and Vegas & JoJo are the nicest, most incredible people to work with to make your vision a reality. I love coming to Famous Door when I'm in town to experience their shows.
Such a fun bar with great live music. We kept coming back here during our trip. Not much seating but the music was good and the drinks weren’t insanely over priced like other places.
I haven't been to Nola in about 10 years which seems so crazy to say but it's true and it was so great to see a lot of the oldies but goodies still around, especially this spot. I always enjoyed the live music, energy and vibe of the place and this time was no different. Retro Punkz Band was so high energy, amazing and electric. Vegas the lead singer has such a beautiful voice and so much energy. She really puts on a show and puts the sweat into it. They cover all genres of music and do such a great job. They engage the crowd, recognize and celebrate special occasions and live to the hype. Definitely come check them out and bring your tip money because it is more than deserved!
