The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans
New Orleans
Recenzje
My stay at The Ritz Carlton, New Orleans was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I experienced true Southern hospitality combined with the luxury and excellence the Ritz Carlton is known for. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and one of the most memorable moments was when the harpist surprised me by playing "Happy Birthday." It was such a thoughtful and elegant gesture that made the celebration feel truly special. The spa was phenomenal peaceful, luxurious, and incredibly rejuvenating. I also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which provided the perfect place to unwind. The complimentary gifts were a wonderful touch that made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. A very special thank you to Concierge Hillery Hardy, who was absolutely outstanding. Hillery's hospitality, professionalism, and extensive knowledge of New Orleans elevated my entire experience. Every recommendation was excellent, every request was handled with care, and Hillery consistently went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. This level of personalized service is exactly what makes The Ritz Carlton stand apart. Also the house keeping team was amazing and organized all my belongings. Tea Time was another unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was elegant, the selection was delightful, and it was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Every member of the staff made me feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for. If you're looking for luxury, exceptional service, and an unforgettable experience in New Orleans, The Ritz Carlton, New Orleans is the place to stay. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!
We have stayed at many Ritz Carltons, but absolutely love this one. The hotel is beautiful and in the perfect location of the French Quarter. What makes it so special is the service and the attitude of the employees, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and going beyond our expectations. Special thanks to JJ, Russell Beth and Sunday for making it such an incredible trip.
What a big disappointment. Visited this hotel for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Checked in, advised our room was amazing, with fantastic views, of the city and the canal. Entered the room, looked at the view and over looking the back of the hotel. Great start. No acknowledgement of our anniversary, when most hotels do and even restaurants. I had ordered some champagne and strawberries to be sent to the room, never turned up. The hotel did give us $100 for the first day of errors. Next day went to the hotel bar, ordered some fries and drinks. After 40 min wait the waiter forgot them as sent them to another table. Reception staff are very sarcastic. Stayed in the Ritz before and this is by far the worst one we have stayed in. Room was even cleaned on one of the days. For a 5 star hotel, very poor. Breakfast was ok, omelette was not great, cheese all rubbery. Somethings we have missed off, but if you want a 5 star hotel in New Orleans look at other ones and brands.
When I was a teenager I used the Ritz-Carlton elevator to get to the Marshall Fields store at Water Tower place. I thought to myself, "I hope I can afford to stay in a hotel like this someday!" The day has come, and it did not disappoint! Everything was clean, smelled nicely, and looked beautiful! We stayed in New Orleans. There was a little beignet in a cup every afternoon when we came back from sightseeing. Our room was very clean with four bottles of water every day. The valet were top notch and helpful! Rico the doorman was always welcoming and kind taking the time to get to know all the people staying in the hotel! We were surprised by champagne and chocolates on our 34th anniversary. Best of all, was the morning that my husband ordered room service breakfast! It was the best breakfast we ever ate! It really was everything I dreamed it would be when I was a teenager! The bad part is that I will never want to stay at another hotel again!
We stayed here for 4 nights - family of 3 traveling with a child. The service is excellent - staff were very attentive throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant had great food and drinks. That said, I would book a different property for the following reasons: Common areas, carpets and rooms were quite dated. What may have looked great in the late 90s/early 2000s now looks worn. The hotel has a musty smell to it. The pool is extremely small and didn’t seem well maintained. The gym was ok. The street and location right outside is also a bit gritty. I’m not sure I’d walk with little children. For the Ritz, it leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel is long overdue for upgrades/renovation. I’d recommend booking a recently built; more modern property by the water, where it is quieter.
