I stayed here in July 2026 for a work conference. The Hyatt Place is conveniently located mere steps away from the Convention Center. Just cross the street and walk a few steps, and you are there! The location for me as a traveler with orthopedic concerns was very accommodating. The breakfast in the mornings was nice and turkey sausage, eggs, pork sausage, hot potatoes, and hot oatmeal were served daily. Additionally breads, French toast or pancakes, and fruits were served daily with a variety of other items such as boiled eggs. The front desk staff members were accommodating and the hotel cleaning staff did a wonderful job to ensure that the rooms were clean and refreshed daily. My only concern was the age and wear of the room. The floor was very dirty/sticky, dust adorned the furniture, and toilet filled up to the top each time that it was flushed. We stayed in a queen suite, and the room was nice, however, the sofa chairs were well worn. Overall, the stay was nice, however, we were remained uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the room. My strongest recommendation is that if you choose to stay here, bring flip flops to wear at all times.
This hotel is clean and the rooms are plenty big enough. It is located close to the French Quarter and Bourbon st.Our refrigerator did not work and maintenance brought us a new one right away. The price was reasonable for the area and quality of the hotel.
Stayed there for 6 days in the beginning of May, and it was an awesome stay! The employees - from front desk to cleaning to breakfast attendants - were all really kind and helpful. Breakfast was freshly made, plentiful, and had a variety of options. The breakfast and dining area was kept super clean as well. The hotel floor I was on had self-service washer and dryer, which is very convenient in a fashion emergency. 12PM check-out is nice too. Would highly recommend!
The absolute best place to stay for anyone attending a conference at the Convention Center! You are literally right across the street, which makes the morning commute effortless. The rooms are incredibly spacious with the signature Hyatt 'Cozy Corner'—perfect for catching up on work in the evening. The Wi-Fi was fast, the staff was efficient, and the location is surrounded by top-tier dining in the Warehouse District. 5 stars for convenience and quality!
We checked in online last night 5/2/2026 which was a very simple process. Both staff members were very kind & helpful. The hotel was clean, wonderful staff, everything just flowed smoothly. The room was very spacious, affordable, clean and comfy beds. I love that they had everything in there, microwave, coffee pot, fridge, plenty of towels. We will definitely make this a go to next time we are in the area. Keep up the great work you guy's. Oh and breakfast was very delicious and nicely set up. The lady is running that ship wonderfully.
