It’s an old hotel with quite a history. The front desk folks are real nice. You get a nice lil welcome package for your $25 a day amenities fee that almost makes up for the fee. Take advantage of the breakfast coupons for breakfast or coffee in the restaurant downstairs. Take advantage of the discounts on tours and such. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV lineup is lacking. Internet worked fine in our room. The location is quite nice and walkable to all kinds of amenities. Common areas are a bit dated and dingy. Price was a decent value for the stay (even with the stupid amenities charge).
Great hotel! The location is perfect! Easy walking through the French Quarter, to the riverfront, down Bourbon St. Easy access to 2 streetcar lines. No problems being so close to Bourbon. The AC worked well. The pool was nice and we liked the pool floats. Loved the water to fill our water bottles in the lobby. Plenty of extras, like tour credits, offered. We didn't use them because I liked other tour companies better but they offered quite a bit. Everything was clean and staff very pleasant.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Holiday Inn French Quarter. We had a king double room with corner balconies. The room was beautiful I can't actually believe I didn't take a photo !! Nice big comfy bed, bright and airy. With an en suite bathroom. We stayed for a long weekend. Considering how close we were to Bourbon Street we slept really well. The restaurant was great, the food portions are amazing. And the bar lady served the BEST MOJETIO I have ever tasted! All the staff were fantastic from reception to waiting staff. The swimming pool was a nice size in a private patio area. The hotel smells amazing from the moment you walk through the door. All in all we had the best time and can not wait to come back and revisit.
My stay at the Holiday Inn French Quarter-Chateau LeMoyne by IHG was fantastic! The location is hard to beat—just a short walk from Bourbon Street while still being quiet enough to get a great night's sleep. The historic charm of the hotel, beautiful courtyard, and relaxing pool gave it a unique New Orleans atmosphere that made our trip even more memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether you're visiting for the food, music, or nightlife, this hotel is an excellent home base for exploring the French Quarter. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, and conveniently located hotel in New Orleans.
