Love love this bar ! Because they have the best smash burgers & food service staff. Usually the bartenders are great but last visit the male bartender was In a foul mood saying how New Orleans is a dead end and he hated his life. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but his bad mood was infectious. Not enough to stop me from going back!
This is a friendly neighborhood bar with good prices, great service, and an amazing kitchen. Don't stand in line at Turkey & the Wolfe. If you want the best gourmet Big Mac, it's at Marie's!
Love the smash burgers! It's a walk-up-to-the- window-to-order kind of place. You get through a great divey bar to get to the small space where the order window is. They yell out your name when your food is ready. There is a counter and a few stools in that space or you can eat in the bar...or go with take-out. Food is delish and service is very friendly! We love it for a quick and casual meal.
A great little bar, friendly, companionable. Great service. Fun stuff - a pool table, a wall of computer games, a couple tv’s of course. A great neighborhood hang-out. The best part is when you go through the door in the back to find yourself in the Slap Burger section. Such great burgers!
Not sure if you can find anyone friendlier than the folks that work at the bar or the kitchen. I ordered the OG cheeseburger and omg, it was really good. I will return next time I'm in town. Very limited seating.
