Food is ok, limited menu, not over priced, but you don't come here for the food. The music is the reason. Great band, small venue. Best music experience we have had in New Orleans. If you like traditional jazz check it out. For a table get there before 7:00.
We really enjoyed the music. Upbeat, great variety, musicians were fun. Its a smaller place but the atmosphere was so friendly. We highly recommend the hummus-and none of us like mushrooms-but these flavors popped! The buns on the sandwiches are specialty stamped amd are very light and airy. The spicy pickles on the sandwiches were delightful! The sugarcane old fashion was full of flavor and the aroma was incredible. The staff and hotel were all so welcoming and just amazing overall.🤗 Great job!
One of the best burgers I have had in NOLA. Truffle fries were spot on. 10/10 would recommend!
We went on Monday night- when there is NOT live music, and it was still a very nice experience. They had a smaller menu, and the bar was still open. Had a delicious bayou burger, with the duck gumbo. Would highly recommend, because it was slow yet still a good atmosphere. Went to Hot Tin after for drinks!
We reserved a table just in case, and we had a great view and it wasn't too loud (on the side). We had one seat on the upholstered bench and one on a chair. The chair wasn't too comfortable, but after the first set, a lot of people left and we both sat on the bench, which was nice. Service was excellent. Attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I ordered two mocktails and they were great! Flavorful but not overly sweet. I had the kale salad, which was a bit sour (dressing) but good, and the wings, which were excellent. The prices are very reasonable. It's a small and intimate setting, really cozy.
