We were town for vacation and visited Verret’s Lounge (because it’s my husband’s last name so we had to) and we loved it!!! Brian the bartender was so friendly and helpful, gave us an amazing list of places to eat and drink and made a killer hurricane. The vibes were great, local patrons so welcoming and we had a really nice time. Sweet little dive bar, nothing fancy but oozing with character. Definitely stop in and check the place out!
I like hanging out there with local people and visitors. Steven is great and they allow my dog too.
Had the boudin balls and fried pickles..they we're amazing. I was told they came with remoulaude sauce, however was given ranch and it was still good but I imagine it would've been super amazing with that sauce. Stopped there with Tanya, the guide for our garden district cemetery tour, she's a local and she's great!!!
