As someone who travels for a living, the Eliza Jane was one of the best hotel experiences I had. I truly was treated special the moment I walked in with Bryan assisting us. There was live music from 5-8 on the weekends and the rooms and aesthetics were superb. It would be difficult to choose another hotel to stay in New Orleans.
I came to The Eliza Jane after transferring from another Marriott property that did not meet my expectations, and after a very frustrating experience with Marriott Bonvoy customer service, I decided to call the hotel directly—and I’m so glad I did. Brian was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to turn a bad situation into a great stay. He has exceptional people skills and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. When he left for the day, Orrionne took over and was just as wonderful. She has such a warm New Orleans personality that instantly makes you feel at home. Her restaurant recommendations were absolutely spot on—trust her! Brian and Orrionne exemplify true hospitality. They completely turned my experience around, and I can’t thank them enough. The Eliza Jane is lucky to have them, and I will definitely be back!
Orrione at the front desk is truly a gem! My mother and I had the pleasure of staying at the Eliza Jane during the Jazz Festival and Orrione made the trip memorable from the very start. A seamless late night check-in filled with suggestions for our NOLA stay. Her positive energy is infectious and top tier customer service each time we had questions. I hope the management knows what a value added employee they have in her.
We had a wonderful stay at The Eliza Jane in New Orleans. The hotel is beautiful, full of character, and perfectly located for exploring the city. When we checked in, our original room was unfortunately very hot. We mentioned it to the front desk, and Kay immediately took ownership of the issue. She was incredibly apologetic, professional, and went above and beyond by upgrading our room for the remainder of our stay. Her excellent customer service turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. The upgraded room was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our visit. Thank you to Kay and the entire Eliza Jane team for making us feel so welcome. We would happily stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Eliza Jane, and two employees truly stood out during our visit. Devon, the bellman, was incredibly kind and accommodating — he gladly held our luggage both before check-in and after checkout while we explored and did some shopping before leaving. He was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Orrione at the front desk was also absolutely fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, and took time to recommend places for us to see and things to do while visiting New Orleans, which we really appreciated. She also made sure we received the complimentary wooden drink tokens included with the destination fee, which was such a fun touch. Both of them helped make our stay even more enjoyable.
