I come here with two coworkers after office hours and it’s become a nice routine for us. Trainers give useful advice casually without interrupting every exercise. The gym floor stays organized even during peak time. One cable machine needed repair recently, but they fixed it within a couple days.
I've been training with Key at The Village for about three months now, and in just that small amount of time, I've had my chronic back pain nearly disappear, and I'm feeling stronger than ever! Key is incredibly attentive to all of the attendees, making sure that each individual person feels comfortable, confident, and empowered no matter their skill level coming in or even how their body is feeling on any particular day. I can't recommend coming on out and giving it a try enough!
I found out about Key through a breath work session that was hosted at the village last week which was an amazing experience in itself. 10/10, would definitely recommend. Towards the conclusion of the breath work session, she mentioned to me about the Saturday morning HIIT classes. I was intrigued at that point so I came to check it out and man was it worth it! All of the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and intentional in their movement selection and curation. As well as attentive and encouraging to their clients or anyone who they have working in their space. The community there is welcoming, hard working, and lastly fun to be around. Overall I just really like the fact that it’s a space catered towards women, encouraging and allowing women to show up as their most authentic selves, free of judgment, ridicule, or isolation. As a black man, I love to see that level of intentionality put into a wellness focused space. I am and will be continuing recommending this space to all of the women in my life looking for a gym home and more importantly a gym family moving forward.
