ONE11 Hotel
New Orleans

Most impressive was the staff. Always available, always professional, always warm & personable. Room was spacious & clean & we loved how the room was set up. After adventuring around the fun places in New Orleans, it was important that the room we returned to was welcoming, we needed the rest. The hotels location was great. We were able to walk along the river, and there were so many places to visit within walking distance. Overall a great experience & we will not only be returning but referring to others.
The staff was excellent. The A/C went out in our room and the staff had us moved to a new room before we knew there was a problem. The bar area is very well stocked and Melissa not only was a great bar tender but helped us pick out places to eat that were amazing. My family and I 100% recommend this place.
Holy Horns of Hell!!! WARNING. The hotel provides complimentary ear plugs in every room!!! The train goes by multiple times at night, blasting its horn repeatedly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not good. The gentleman working breakfast acted as if the job was beneath him, was rude to his coworkers, and he never restocked any food so the few pancakes left were crunchy, the milk for cereal was spoiled. We let them know and it took so long for him to replace it we gave up, very slow to restock the coffee as well, The location wasn’t ideal, given the train and loud riverboat music. There are many better places to stay. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. I don’t like to give bad reviews, but I rely heavily on them when making decisions.
I came with my daughter for a mother-daughter getaway, and we had a terrific time in New Orleans. Unfortunately, I am disappointed to give this hotel only two stars. The location and physical facilities are excellent and easily deserving of five stars. However, the service experience fell far below expectations. Most of the staff seemed disengaged and, at times, openly unpleasant. One morning at 7:30 a.m., when I went downstairs for coffee, members of the cleaning crew were seated on the lobby couches, wet mops resting on the furniture, while loudly watching a television show on their phones. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The bar was consistently empty, which may reflect the service experience there as well. The bartenders came across as surly, impersonal, and uninterested in hospitality. At the front desk, the gentlemen working there appeared more focused on their phones than on guests. When we asked for assistance obtaining the key to the minibar in the shopping area, they seemed inconvenienced and exasperated. This property has tremendous potential because the location and facilities are terrific. With better management attention to service culture, professionalism, and guest engagement, it could be an outstanding hotel.
