Visit the reimagined, state-of-the-art Audubon Aquarium, located near the French Quarter in New Orleans. This AZA-accredited aquarium offers a diverse underwater experience spanning the Caribbean, Amazon Rainforest, Mississippi River, and Gulf of Mexico habitats.
Encounter a wide range of marine life including endangered species. Touch sharks and stingrays at the Shark Discovery Touch Pool and walk through a 30-foot tunnel showcasing the Great Maya Reef’s aquatic creatures.
The Amazon Rainforest gallery features lush plants, free-flying birds, piranhas, pacus, and an anaconda snake. The Gulf of Mexico exhibit holds 450,000 gallons, providing an immersive aquatic environment.

- Opening hours for all Audubon Attractions: 10 AM to 5 PM, last entry 4:30 PM
- Certified service animals allowed except in Amazon Encounters and Amazon Rainforest areas
- Strollers must not exceed 29 inches (72 cm) wide and 52 inches (132 cm) long
- The aquarium is wheelchair accessible; limited wheelchairs available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis
- Wagons, wagon strollers, push cars, and ride-ons are not allowed to ensure safe navigation
- Combo tickets are not valid for special events like Cool Zoo, Boo at the Zoo, Zoo to Do, Zoo Lights, or other special admissions
- If using a combo ticket, you have 5 days from the scheduled ticket date to visit the additional attraction(s)
