A standout student under Mike Esneault at Baton Rouge Magnet High, he earned spots with the National Youth Orchestra Jazz ensemble, touring Europe and Asia with Sean Jones and Kurt Elling. Finch's style fuses his classical roots with modern jazz improvisation.
