This place was perfect! Excellent location, clean rooms and affordable. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting New Orleans!
We didn’t read the Air BnB description well and didn’t realize it was a hostel/ shared common spaces except the bedroom. BUT- IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL HOME! So accommodating. We’d love to book here again:) Really close drive to so many places around Tulane and the French Quarter.
We had never been to NOLA and Site 61 was a pleasant surprise. We loved Site 61! The place is lovely and clean. We were for a conference and was often grateful for a free breakfast bar when trying to catch a bus. The place is easily accessible via bus especially if you have to go to Tulane Uni or catch a connection anywhere. The staff was super amazing. Our reception host, Jasmine was very kind and understanding and met us with understanding. You will have everything you need with a very kind staff and management. The place is quiet and well taken care of. Check in and Check out are super easy. One cute touch was the whiteboard in the lobby that had suggestions for visitors. We appreciated knowing what we could do that weekend and how we could support local businesses. It felt like home or a hostel you want to come home to after a long day. The place was quiet and we had great sleep. We miss Site 61. We will definitely come back !
I really loved my stay at Site 61! The hostel was absolutely beautiful and felt cozy and homey right away. I was traveling solo and felt safe the entire time I was there. Everything in the hostel and my room was clean, and inviting. The environment outside the hostel has a more industrial than residential feel for anyone wondering. If I had my littles with I maybe would want something a little more walkable for them but for me it was fine. Also would like to note how impressively quiet the hostel was. I would stay again and I would recommend it to others also. The price was wonderful, but mostly I just loved the space and the communication of the host. What a great business to have in the area!
