Just had a lovely six night stay there in the king studio. The staff were fabulous, so great, the rooms, the vibe all of it exceptional. The bar with the live music for our last night was a great final touch. I miss our mini cookies under a glass dome every night!! Loved the coffee service..

This hotel was such a delight! What an amazingly curated collection of decor, comfortable rooms, food & drink options, access to great amenities (tropical rooftop pool oasis next door), and excellent location. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and we loved the wine & cheese hours. Don't forget the screen access to the speakeasy bar next door, which was a special touch. There were also little moments that felt extra special such as the nightly turn down with mini macarons and fresh water each day. The hotel felt like a quiet retreat amidst the liveliness of the city. Comfortable bed, high ceilings and soaking tub awaits you after a day and night of fun. It was also directly near the St. Charles car line for easy access and walkable to the French quarter. Go ahead, splurge--it's worth it!!

Maison Métier is a masterpiece! From the moment you walk through the doors, it feels like you’ve been invited into a stunning, private historic estate. The design is absolutely breathtaking—every piece of furniture and art feels curated and intentional. Our room was a dream, featuring soaring ceilings and a bathroom that felt like a spa. 5 stars for the exquisite beauty and the quiet, high-end luxury that this hotel offers!

While the location is excellent and the staff is courteous there were a few major disappointments. With a luxury king suite and Jazz Fest prices, we did not anticipate addressable issues that detracted from our overall satisfaction. Our room was room 10 which overlooks Lafayette street. Between 430 and 630 am each morning sleep is not possible as a plethora of deliveries from loud beeping trucks parade down the street. I was told there were no other rooms available. Our bathroom sinks did not have hot water. Was odd as the shower had hot water but not the sinks. My wife informed the front desk but we never received any follow up. Each day we requested the room be serviced, yet evidently that did not include replenishment of the toiletries. We had to go to the front desk for those. If you would like to workout or swim you are told to cross the street to a “sister hotel”. Lastly, early check in was not available and my request for a late check out after our third night was denied. I was politely but firmly told that due to 35 checkouts an extra hour was not possible. Again, great location and courtesy staff but the expectation and reality of the experience were not close.

I had a wonderful time at this stunning hotel with my boyfriend. The service made us feel both welcome and taken care of. The room was beautiful, and we couldn’t hear hallway noise or any disturbances from other rooms. It definitely has the “boutique” feel, and it is a great place for some R&R after the sights and sounds of the city. I will note that it is a bit of a walk to the center of the action, but if you don’t mind the 15min walk, then this is a great option!
