Overall this hotel is at a great location with great service. While the building itself is a bit older, it's clean and well-maintained. The rooms are well air-conditioned for the Nola summer weather, and always properly cared for. The pool in the court yard is nice and quiet, a great touch to the stay. I also had a small injury while staying, which the manager Aaron promptly and professionally helped taken care of. The overall service was also great, with kindness and professionalism all around.
Please keep in mind this is an older hotel in need of minor repairs and maintenance. The staff is wonderful. On our 2nd night there was a weather related issue with our room they took care of it immediately. They were also very kind to my fur baby during our stay. It is also very centrally located to good eats, the casino, and sights. Highly Highly recommend
The staff at this boutique hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms although average, we're very clean and comfortable. Bathroom amenities were good quality. My only complaint would be the low water pressure. My visit to place during the relentless thunder and rain storms. The staff accommodate entering guests with towels to help dry off- something I've not seen elsewhere. An excellent value of the price.
Perfect location, lovely staff. Much closer to the French Quarter than most of the hotels in the Warehouse District, and I felt safe walking back late at night. Great area! I lived in New Orleans ages ago but found an amazing new coffee shop (Fourth Wall, lovely rooms and courtyard, tons of people reading, writing and working) and revisited Herbsaint nearby (I almost cried because I forgot how good the food is, my GOD). The staff were really kind, and the morning breakfast was great, especially the french toast. Coffee was pretty good, too. My room was lovely, and bigger than expected. Desk, a couple of sitting chairs, nice bathroom. I prefer the non-corporate vibe.
Our first trip to New Orleans also marked our first time staying at a hotel like this—and I knew right away it was exactly what I was hoping for. I didn’t want a typical, cookie-cutter hotel. I wanted something with character, and from the moment we pulled up, this place delivered. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Charles, the valet, who kindly took care of our bags since we had arrived early and our room wasn’t quite ready yet. His friendliness immediately set the tone for our stay. When we stepped inside, we met Kentrell at the front desk, and she was just as welcoming. Her demeanor was warm, professional, and genuinely inviting, making us feel right at home from the start. The atmosphere of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for—full of charm and personality, with a unique feel that made our experience in New Orleans even more special.
