This was an Amazing stay! The level of service you get is outstanding! From Steve who greets you at the door and uploads your car to Ernie who brings your bags to your room. Let's not forget everyone else who works there greets you. Makes sure you have what you need or could want. 5 stars is truly not enough for them. The rooms were immaculate! We will be staying here again!
The Waldorf Astoria Roosevelt hotel is just magical. Once you enter the lobby, its beauty reveals itself in the architecture and decor reminiscent of a glorious heyday and the multiple glowing chandeliers that line up the length of the lobby dazzle as you approach the reception desk. The staff and customer service is out of this world. Sheila assisted us with such a warm welcome. She was helpful and lovely. We stayed for 4 days in a king suite that was exceptionally well kept and clean. Not long after we settled into our suite, room service appeared which we had not ordered. It turned out the staff had heard there was someone celebrating a birthday (me) and they generously brought us a tray of birthday desserts, a basket of snacks, and large bottles of sparkling and still water. Such a great surprise! It was a thoughtful and welcomed touch. Our room was turned down in the evening with the expected chocolates on the nightstand, but also comfy slippers set on each side of the bed, fluffy robes set out, more water bottles left on the table and they even filled up our ice bucket. These small touches made our stay that more special. I can't say enough about the staff or the hotel itself and it will be my only destination on my next trip to NOLA. Shout out to Taylor at the pool bar for her assistance on where to eat near the swamp tour we booked and John who happily assists every guest at the front entrance door. Your staff is outstanding. Kudos to you, Roosevelt hotel. You outdid yourself and we are here for it!! Thanks again for making our stay the best ever!
It’s always a pleasure to be greeted by the staff, Mr. Randy Mr Mark(doorman) and Mr Ernie the bell hop, it feels like we’re coming back home with their warm, welcoming, smiles. Ms Patricia went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special with her professional mannerism and bubbly attitude. She offered the best champagne pairing with our fried chicken Monday. And recommending us to try the collard greens too. It was all delicious. We have stayed at the Roosevelt during different times of the year and seasons. This was the first time we were able to enjoy the pool area. Unfortunately it was raining, but Ali the bartender served refreshing drinks and allowed us to be creative making a new drink. We called the Russian Ali. moments like this is what sits the Roosevelt apart from other hotels. If you’re ever able to enjoy the pool bar ask Ali for the Russian Ali!
Yesterday, I purchased a pool pass and had an amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained, and the guest service was exceptional from start to finish. What truly stood out and made my day special was one of the staff members. She told me her real name, but said everyone calls her "Bee" to make it easier. Bee was absolutely incredible! I've never seen someone multitask so effortlessly while still providing outstanding customer service. She was patient, attentive, and always had a bright smile that made everyone feel welcome. Her positive attitude genuinely made my day smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, the pool deck was wonderful, but Bee's exceptional service is what made this visit memorable. She is truly an asset to the hotel!
The Rosevelt Hotel in New Orleans is the only hotel you should consider if exceptional service, room quality and location are a priority to you. I don’t typically write reviews but when you receive service that is next level, I needed to share. I sent an email prior to arrival letting them know it was my anniversary. I received the warmest follow up emails from Crystal D. And Marshall C. I was surprised by the level of detail and caring they exemplified from my email to turn our anniversary into something beyond special. Upon arrival Alexis greeted us at check in with warm congratulations sentiments and provided two glasses of champagne. We get into our room and were upgraded to a suite, finding custom chocolates, a bottle of chilled ice champagne, and some other New Orleans snacks. Best of all was a long hand written note with specific details on our anniversary weekend. An incredible touch! Throughout our stay, staff (thank you Natasha for the texts) checked in to ensure anything we needed was handled. It was done in a custom and caring way, not your standard “let me know if you need anything”, there is a difference and team exemplified it. If you have a special weekend planned or just want a 5 star beautiful hotel with a terrific location look no further than the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans. Thank you again to the entire team for going above and beyond, especially Crystal and Marshall!
