The NOPSI Hotel has potential, and the staff members are very nice, but management is letting them down. There is a mandatory $35/day daily fee for "perks" that you cannot actually redeem. For example, their brochure promises discounts on local tours, but when we asked the front desk, no one had ever heard of it. Apart from a single welcome drink the fee feels like a charge for nothing. (There is a pool access, but to be honest it should already be included in the room rate.) Housekeeping also required constant prompting. We had to specifically ask to get our room cleaned and to receive a bathrobe that was missing upon arrival. Finally, the room amenities are disappointing. The shampoo and body wash are still served in tiny plastic bottles that run out quickly and are not environmentally friendly. For a hotel of this caliber, these products should really be transitioned to large, wall-mounted dispensers. It is a beautiful property, but the hidden fees, service gaps, and lack of sustainability left a bad taste. We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and tbh I feel a bit down. I am not sure I would come back or recommend the place…
The hotel is ok - clean and nice lobby . The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Service was not great - the bartender (a girl) in the rooftop was so rude when we ordered a piña colada and used orange juice and told her that was not a piña colada she was very rude. We paid for the drinks (not cheap) but we didn’t even finish it. Then we asked for a late checkout and the desk woman was so rude and didn’t even did the effort to help us and say immediately no. I think is not about the costs but about the service and attention. The pool furniture is old and dirty . Overall it was good stay but I wouldn’t come back to this hotel. The only very nice person was the bartender in the lobby bar .
100/100 – I highly recommend staying at the NOPSI! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. I really enjoyed my stay. The only downside was my check-in experience. Unfortunately, the front desk agent who assisted me was not welcoming and didn’t provide any information about the hotel. She simply handed me my room keys without explaining where anything was or making me feel welcomed. She also didn’t introduce herself or wear a name tag, so I wasn’t able to get her name. I think she could benefit from additional customer service training. On the other hand, Kevin and Tim were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, professional, and made me feel genuinely welcome. There was also a tall white gentleman working at the bar who provided outstanding service, and a young Black gentleman at the front desk with glasses and locs who was incredibly kind and helpful. I hate that I didn’t get their names, but all four of them truly stood out and made a positive impact on my stay. Despite the disappointing check-in experience, the exceptional service from the rest of the staff more than made up for it. I will definitely be back VERY soon!
We haves a fantastic experience here at the NOPSI with our kids. The staff were lovely and really looked after us. The room was amazing - very big, beautiful comfortable beds and very nicely finished. Our man Dex on the front desk was great and very helpful. We were also served by Sandra in the restaurant for breakfasts and Sandra was gorgeous! So very nice and very accommodating to our children. Thank you all so much for making our experience so memorable.
