My Benjamin Franklin High School class recently held a reunion at Bayou Wine Garden, in the inside space, and we had a wonderful time. Carlyn, the event coordinator, did an exceptional job of walking me through the booking and planning process. The space was attractive and comfortable for our 75 or so attendees, and the prices were very fair. The food, served buffet style, was outstanding. This was so much better than having a sit-down meal at a restaurant, since the ambience was just right for schmoozing and catching up with classmates we hadn't seen in many years. Loved it! Great business-- professional and courteous owner and staff!
This was a great find just a few blocks from our Air BnB. The outdoor space is a combined wine and beer garden with tons of seating. Their happy hour deals were unreal (less than $5 for a glass of wine?!), and the ambience was perfect. There are several bars spread throughout the space, and I will say we didn’t have the best experience with service at the indoor bar but the outdoor one was great!
