Why is the food here so good?? We went to Muriel’s before, which is expensive, but this was sooooo much better. Reasonably priced, and a great balance between authentic food and unique food. Their po boy tastes like a traditional po boy but then there’s this 30 90 element that elevates it. Everything there is so good. Right now, it’s my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Don’t even get me started on the music; it’s always top notch bands performing with a jazz soul to it. Last night the guitar player was insane. I didn’t even know that was possible. Go here immediately. Wait, also the bar tender. I didn’t get her name, but she was great!!!
If you want a true taste of New Orleans with incredible music—this is it. Live music downstairs, a great nightclub upstairs, and one of the few spots on Frenchmen Street where you can step out onto a balcony. Highly recommend the VIP experience.
So much fun! No cover, the band was fantastic. Crowd interaction was amazing. A MUST to visit this place. Lindsey Smith performed to and she was out of this world! Loved the entire band they were all so good! Great drinks and atmosphere
I'm a local and I like this bar. To clarify, I like this bar for a Frenchman St. bar. It is overpriced and fairly touristy, but they have great music every night that they are open (check their website for days, which may change with the season. The sound is good here, great place to watch a show. I've had friends order the happy hour raw oysters (in season, was $1 each) and rave about how clean and fresh they were. Overpriced, but most bars on Frenchman are comparable. Just the price you pay for multiple great live venues in a short span. They rarely charge a cover, which helps. Please tip the band and staff.
We went for (very) late night live music and vibes in Aug2025. We saw a very talented and amazing band. The set was soulful and full of energy. The bar food was limited so we just enjoyed the music.
