We really enjoyed oir room here. The staff was nice and the atmosphere made me feel like we were in a little neighborhood instead of walking through a hotel. Parking costs are reasonable for the area and the street car is right in front of the hotel and takes you all over. Its close to lots of food spots that were good too. The room was good. Nice comfortable bed, mini fridge and microwave were great to have in room. Only issues we had was its an older hotel so old plumbing. The water pressure in the shower was very low.
We had a great stay here for one evening. The staff at check in and check out were very kind. The rooms were clean, and the property felt safe and quiet. My only small complaint would be the a/c didn’t get very cold in room 132. Convenient to a lot of food, and the street car. We had a great stay!
From the front entrance, you'll never know it is as big as it is. Once stepping out of the lobby, there is a vast city block of intriguing buildings, Courtyards, and beautiful landscapes including a small pool. Not your typical hotel look. Rooms are nice with a few minor flaws. Overall a very delightful stay. Sorry, didn't take any pictures.
I absolutely loved my stay at Maison St. Charles! The hotel has a wonderful historic charm, and beautifully maintained gardens. The pool was particularly enjoyable in the hot weather we had this week. The room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. I was also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. Everything tasted fresh—I especially enjoyed the grits, making my own waffle, the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the fresh berries. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans!
This boutique hotel was the perfect spot for our girls week in New Orleans. It was centrally located for sight seeing and the staff/security team was super helpful and friendly. Our 2 Queen beds on first floor room was clean and cozy. The weather was hot, humid and rainy so I really appreciated the air-con with fan option to undamp our clothes/shoes. Morning breakfast had great choices to get us fed and caffeinated for a day of exploration. The 2 chefs were my personal highlight of hotel since they were the sweetest ladies that worked hard to make us feel welcomed. Highly recommend this neighborhood spot!
