This was a great place to stay on Bourbon street and was perfectly situated halfway between Canal Street and the other end. Everything you want to see is within a short walking distance including the cemetary tour, Jackson square, canal street, etc. The hotel is quiet even when it is busy outside and was very safe. We had balcony rooms in the tolouse street side and it was amazing how quiet the room was with the outside balcony doors shut. But they also give you earplugs if you need them. Only time we really had any issue was when a car alarm was going off a block away at 4am but otherwise didnt hear much noise from outside. For valet parking we were worried about the 6'2 clearance and called ahead because we have a tahoe that is at least 6'4. We had no problems with our vehicle and the valet even went to find my husbands wallet that he left in the vehicle when we checked in. Our friends had a wagoneer and also had no issues. We also left one day to go for a airboat ride and the valet was very quick with the vehicles. The pool area in the courtyard is nice and we had fun hanging out there a few times and our teenagers enjoyed it. Did not eat at their restaurant so cant comment there. Just a great location, nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping came each day to make beds, empty trash, and replace towels. The front door is monitored so felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.
This is the place you stay if you want the real bourbon street experience. Located in the heart of bourbon where you can leave and jump into the action. The staff is very friendly and they accommodated me with my early flight arrival for no extra cost and I truly appreciate. The food is excellent, elevators move fast, rooms are basically soundproof and are very clean. It's the only hotel I've stayed there, but will definitely stay again.
My favorite hotel in the French Quarter! This was my second time staying here and I continue to be impressed. Location is centered in the middle of Bourbon Street, which is very convenient. Courteous and professional staff. I've always received the exact room that I booked. The entire property and my room was very clean and well maintained. Great job with the combination of preserved historical character and updated decor. Overall, an outstanding hotel with no complaints!
I had a great time at the Four Points Sheraton. Since I lived in Nola for a while, I’m not sure how I missed that the hotel was right on Bourbon, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and kind, and we were able to check in a bit early. We were given a double room by the ice and elevator rather than the king room we booked. The double was a bit small, but I was glad to see there was a fridge, iron and ironing board and actual doors to the bathroom. I’ve never heard so many people get ice, but it wasn’t too loud. The bathroom was also a bit tight but had cute French doors and the water was pretty hot. I also noticed the room was pretty clean and I didn’t see any stray hairs from past guests other than 1 on the ceiling. House keeping was also great and they changed the sheets everyday, which I really appreciated. I was glad there was a gym, but it was tiny. It did have a couple treadmills and dumbbells, and I guess if you’re staying on bourbon, your focus isn’t working out. Warning, if your room is on the bourbon side, it can be so loud that it seems like there’s a speaker in your room, so it might be good to request a room on the other side if you’re worried about sleeping before 2am. Even though the hotel was on bourbon, I always felt safe. Overall, The location and hotel were great and I’d stay there again.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We opted for a courtyard room for a quieter stay as the streetside is loud. The room was clean and the balcony was a very nice touch; we enjoyed hanging out there in the evening. Pool deck was clean but the water just a little too cold for us but that didn't stop us from enjoying the deck chairs. Our front desk personnel were AMAZING! Please give the incredible Shannon, Larry, Maurice and Kim a raise! They are the epitome of warm customer service and what we can only assume is the true N'awlens culture. Shannon aided me through a very delicate situation and she handled it with such poise, I can't thank her enough!
